With a strong foundation in the classical dance form, Akshath has been training in bharathanatyam
for 9 years under the guidance of his mother, Acharya. Smt. Indhumadhi Gopalakrishnan. His expertise
in Nritta and nuances of thalam, he has developed his own unique choreographic style that blends
traditional techniques with modern flair. As a teaching assistant, Akshath is committed to helping
students of all levels to refine their technique. He also shares the stage with his mother on
Nattuvangam for the arangetrams.

“Meet Naveena Rajeev, our skilled and dedicated 12th Grader!”
Naveena began learning the art of Bharatanatyam at age 5 under the tutelage of Acharya. Smt. Indhumadhi Gopalakrishnan and completed her bharathantyam arangetram in August 2024. Perseverance, Respect, Dedication, and a deep connection to her culture are a few of the many things that she has been able to gain from training in Bharatanatyam for over 12 years. In the years of her dance journey, Naveena has performed in many events, including the annual Natya Utsav programs choreographed by Guru Smt. Indhumadhi Gopalakrishnan. She has been actively participating in all the productions, most memorable being Kalinga Narthanam, Krishna - A Divine Musical, Navasandhi Nrithyam, and Vriddhi. She has also participated in many competitions and was presented with several opportunities to hone her dance skills.
